Working In A Workout on Your Vacation

With our near 250 average days of sunshine a year, coupled with Mother Natures' refreshing ocean breezes and her widely recognized beneficial boost of Vitamin D, working out outdoors has long been a favorite activity of Fort Lauderdale's locals and visitors.

In recent years however, Fort Lauderdale's beachfront hotels and businesses have been taking extra steps to offer beachgoers and visitors a number of options to stay healthy while away from home. From free yoga and fitness classes to clean eating options, and attractions and adventures just steps from the shoreline, it's no question Fort Lauderdale Beach is in a FIT Lauderdale frame of mind.

And whether your desired fitness intensity runs from a leisurely walk, jog or pedal along A1A on a rented Broward B-cycle, to an intense workout or pick up game of basketball at the outdoor gym at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, you'll find an array of fun ways to stick to your daily fitness routine, or discover a new passion to bring back from vacation instead of the dreaded "vacation 5 lbs".
