PLACES TO STAY
Luxury travelers gravitate toward W Fort Lauderdale (above) for their standout pet program. Think roomy suites and ocean-facing balconies meant for soaking up the sun, amenities like plush pet beds, and special packages such as the ‘Dogs Are A Girl’s Best Friend’ package, which includes sweet treats and a bottle of bubbly for adults, as well as bacon-flavored ice cream for dogs.

PLACES TO DINE
While most restaurants along Fort Lauderdale Beach will welcome your pet with a bowl of fresh water and a pat of the head, Quarterdeck actually has an exclusive menu for dogs. The simple but delicious menu includes grilled chicken and rice, bacon, sweet potato treats and an unseasoned burger patty. All entrees are served with an ice cold bowl of water to wash it down. For the brunch bunch both two- and four-legged members of the family will enjoy the monthly Bark Brunch at S 3 Restaurant (above).
THINGS TO DO
Fort Lauderdale Beach is the perfect place for both you and your pets to stay and play. With nearly 265 days a year of sunshine and outdoor spaces to explore, there are plenty of places to play with your four-legged friends - including the weekly Friday Night Sound Waves concerts (above) and Saturday Farmers Market at Las Olas Oceanside Park. And if you're looking to Wine & Dine with your best buddy, our Event Calendar is updated daily with area Yappy Hours and the new Dog Days of Summer Movie Series to enjoy together.
