El Vez Fort Lauderdale is the newest venture by renowned restaurateur Stephen Starr, who also operates Steak 954, within W Fort Lauderdale. Like it's sister restaurants in Philadelphia and New York, El Vez showcases classic Mexican fare with an emphasis on baja-style cooking that celebrates the fresh seafood of the South Florida region.

Guacamole, ceviche and classics such as mahi mahi tacos, grilled prawns and duck mole poblano, are just the tip of a most mouthwatering menu. A great way to sample it all is during their weekly, weekday Happy Hour every Monday through Friday between 4 and 7pm. Grab a seat at the bar or on the patio and sip on a margarita and satisfy your taste buds with a snack while you or play a game on the deck, or retreat to the vibrant interior bar, all just steps from the beach.
