YAA Spreads the XOXO on Fort Lauderdale Beach

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Summer of Love, Young At Art Museum is hosting a number of events on and around Fort Lauderdale Beach to promote their new national traveling exhibition from the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, XOXO: an Exhibit About Love & Forgiveness, makes it’s debut June 10 – September 10, 2017.

Augmenting the exhibition will be A Summer of Love & Art with presentations by local guest artists whose work exemplifies the expression of love; art workshops inspired by renowned artists including Keith Haring and Andy Warhol; and a celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Summer of Love at locations along Fort Lauderdale Beach featuring music, hippies fashion show, open air painting studio, paint mixers and flower power mural.

As part of Young At Art’s Summer Of Love, YAA will be bring the celebration to Fort Lauderdale Beach for a series of six events called, XOXO: Love & Art on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Adult Studio Paint Mixers will be hosted on the second Thursday from June to August. Additional open-air painting events are scheduled through September 2.
