Come slide off your shoes and slip into the weekend every Friday night (Mar-Nov) at the free beachside concert sponsored in major part by the Fort Lauderdale Beach Business community. Featuring some of South Florida and the region’s best musical talents, performing an eclectic range of genres, Friday Night Sound Waves entertains area locals and global visitors, from the young to the young-at-heart.

Cafe Ibiza

Elbo Room, Fort Lauderdale Beach
Immortalized in 1956 when it was featured in the blockbuster hit “Where the Boy’s Are?”, The Elbo Room is one of those historic spots (it opened in 1938) which just gets better with age, and each time you visit. Featuring live music from open to close, 7 days a week, this beachside bar is a guaranteed good time and place to stop for a morning, afternoon, or evening drink by the beach.

Sangrias Mexican Cantina
Open seven days a week serving lunch, dinner and liquid libations from 11 am, Sangrias offers hungry beach goers a casual menu of fresh salads and sandwiches, as well as Mexican and Spanish infused entrees accompanied by a spectacular ocean view and a fair dose of fun. Come for the day and stay for the night! Sangria’s features a comfortable beachside patio boasting some of the best flamenco and Latin jazz music beginning each evening at 5:00 pm.

Burlock Coast may bring out your inner pirate with their famed rum-filled nightly happy hours, however it’s the newest addition of Ladies Night, every Thursday from 6PM – 9PM that has us singing yo ho ho, with their $5 snack menu for everyone, complimentary champagne for the ladies and live beats with DJ Carsonicboom on the decks.

McSorley’s Beachside Pub & Rooftop Lounge
McSorley’s is an Irish Bar with a serious twist, featuring a Beach Pub and Game Room on the main level and a rooftop Sun Deck not to be missed.
