Celebrate Father’s Day with Beach Yoga and enjoy the beautiful beach with the yoga cOMmUNITY. We meet on the sand of Ft. Lauderdale Beach and each week will feature south Florida’s leading yoga teachers for 60 minutes of detoxing with warriors, core work, twists, breathing and meditation. Class is open to ALL LEVELS and NEWBIES to Yoga. This is a casual and inviting environment where every color, shape and size is welcome! The class is scheduled from 9:00am – 10:00am. Please arrive 10 minutes before class begins and bring a mat and/or large towel (s), sunglasses, sunblock, water. Donation of $5 or $10 cash pp.
Step back in time and experience life as it was in the 20s and 30s at Bonnet House Museum & Gardens.
Dads receive complimentary admission with one full paid adult admission. Tour the historic house museum filled with a delightful collection of art and personal treasures from the Bartlett family as well as explore the nature trails filled with native plants, trees and an occasional monkey or swan. Highlights include a spicy peach sandwich ($12), ropa vieja empanadas ‘n eggs ($19), Korean fried chicken ‘n waffles ($23), lemon poppyseed pancakes ($16) and a lineup of mimosas and bloody marys. For an additional $5 per person, upgrade brunch with a guacamole or queso fundido, which is served in a steaming skillet. Brunch is served between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
