Local artists joined over 100 guests at The Atlantic Hotel & Spa on January 22, 2015 for a cocktail reception to premier “Feast of Colors,” an exhibition facilitated by ArtServe, an organization that features the works of celebrated and diverse local artists who have all achieved acclaim in different mediums, disciplines and professions. Guests mixed and mingled with local artists Christian Feneck, an architect by trade who is now equally as known for his detailed and vibrant artwork; Tin Ly, an award winning Vietnamese artist who has made Broward his home for the past 25 years and whose paintings and sculptural works are in collections around the world; Lee Berlin, a successful business entrepreneur and long-time radio host who has recently found his passion in creating visual art; and Carlos Cesar Alves, a Brazilian-born artist who is involved in Miami’s Design District.

Jaye Abbate, President and CEO of ArtServe, Inc. introduced the artists and expressed her gratitude to The Atlantic Hotel and Spa’s General Manager, Heidi Dennis, for providing the opportunity to fulfill ArtServe’s goal of showcasing local artists and creating buzz about their work. While guests mingled with the local artists, they enjoyed hors d'oeuvres and wine provided by Beauty & the Feast Bar|Kitchen located in The Atlantic Hotel & Spa.

“We are so thrilled to display the artwork of these incredibly talented local artists for our guests to enjoy as they walk through our hotel’s main lobby,” said Heidi Dennis, General Manager of The Atlantic Hotel & Spa. “Our partnership with ArtServe provides us with a great opportunity to support wonderful artists and the arts community in South Florida.”

The exhibition, “Feast of Colors,” will adorn the walls of the lobby through March 2, 2015. The partnership with ArtServe is part of The Atlantic Hotel & Spa’s ongoing support of the arts, whereby every few months, the hotel displays eye-catching artwork from emerging local artists. All of the artwork exhibited in The Atlantic Hotel & Spa is available for purchase and proceeds will benefit ArtServe and the artists it represents. ArtServe is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide programs, events, business opportunities and facilities that help local and emerging artists turn their art into business.

“ArtServe is delighted to have creatively collaborated with The Atlantic Hotel & Spa on the showcase they provided for the area’s talented local artists. Not only does it fulfill our mission as an arts incubator to develop new avenues for local artists to have their work seen and sold, it also provides tourists with a window into the depth of our cultural offerings and easy access to take home something beautiful to remember their trip by: a wonderful piece of original art,” said Jaye Abbate, President/CEO of ArtServe, Inc. “We applaud The Atlantic Hotel & Spa’s vision and look forward to cultivating some new
