Greater Fort Lauderdale’s celebration of the destination’s growing foodie scene will have an international flavor this year with new restaurants joining Dine Out Lauderdale from Oct. 1- Nov. 6, 2014.
During the six-week program, $35 three-course prix fixe menus will be offered at 37 of the destination’s top restaurants, including newcomers bringing flavors from around the world.
This year’s notable additions include: Beauty & The Feast at the Atlantic Hotel & Spa, featuring delicious fresh favorites from local fisherman and farmers from around the state of Florida; Sky Thai Sushi, offering Thai and Japanese cuisine with an extensive sake list; Tsukuro, a chic Zen-like dining experience with the ocean as a backdrop; Eduardo de San Angel, a crowd pleaser serving traditional Mexican favorites; Piccolo Ristorante for an intimate Italian dining experience and Chart House, serving seafood along the Intracoastal Waterway.
Diners can also expect long-standing favorites along the destinations waterfront, among the beachfront promenade, throughout chic hotels and in the heart of cosmopolitan areas like Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard.
With so much to savor in such little time – culinary connoisseurs would need to “Dine Out” at a rate of 5.5 restaurants per week to try them all – Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau’s “Fork” Lauderdale Dining App. The free app lets users easily locate participating restaurants or a range of other eateries, romantic hot spots, family friendly fare, ethnic cuisine, steakhouses, vegetarian, and fresh sea to table offerings. The app also serves up insider tips from locals and captures the nightlife scene for those looking to start the night after dinner.
