So you're all tuckered out from your big Fourth of July party yesterday? You poor wittle baby. Zip up your dress, Sally, and get over it: that's how holiday weekends are supposed to be. Whether you're looking to do it up with a binge-drinking pub crawl, a steamy burlesque show, or you just really need to walk it all off, we have a list of the five best food and drink events in Broward and Palm Beach counties this weekend.
5. ArtServe's Brunch on the Beach
In South Florida, Fourth of July should be celebrated on the beach. Even if Sunday is a few days after the fact, you still have a perfectly valid excuse. Every Sunday throughout the summer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Fort Lauderdale beach restaurants are pairing with ArtServe to combine food and drink specials with local art, right smack dab in front of the Atlantic. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Café Del Mar, East End Brasserie, Rock Bar, S3, Sangrias, Spazio and St. Barts are participating. All restaurants are located directly on A1A on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Call 954-462-8190, or visit artserve.org.
