The Atlantic Hotel & Spa on Fort Lauderdale Beach is pleased to announce the continuation of its partnership with non-profit ArtServe Inc. to showcase the artwork of local artists in the hotel’s main lobby with the “Bold and Beautiful” exhibition.

A reception will take place Tuesday, January 19th at 6 p.m. in the hotel’s main lobby area. Guests can enjoy live art, appetizers and drinks provided by Beauty & the Feast as well as appearances by all six artists.

The latest exhibition adorns the hotel lobby walls with the works of six celebrated and diverse local artists who have all achieved acclaim in different mediums, disciplines and professions.

Spoken word artists from ArtServe’s teen arts program, The VoiceBox, will perform original compositions inspired by the visual art on display and the beautiful seaside location of The Atlantic Hotel & Spa. Created in partnership with the Jason Taylor Foundation, The VoiceBox features artists from the Omari blueapple Poetry Network and highlights another important community initiative that is supported by The Atlantic Hotel & Spa.

“We are thrilled to continue supporting local South Florida artists and have their artwork adorn the walls of our lobby,” said Heidi Dennis, General Manager of The Atlantic Hotel & Spa. “It is important to the entire team at The Atlantic to foster this partnership with ArtServe in support of our local cultural community and the arts.”

The partnership with ArtServe is part of The Atlantic Hotel & Spa’s ongoing support of the arts whereby every few months the hotel displays eye-catching artwork from emerging local artists. Available for purchase, the sales from these works of art will support local artists and the cultural community.

ArtServe is an award-winning non-profit arts incubator with a mission to provide programs, events, business opportunities, and facilities that help local and emerging artists turn their art into business.

“ArtServe is honored to continue our collaboration with The Atlantic Hotel & Spa with the installation of the ‘Bold and Beautiful’ exhibition,” said Jaye Abbate, President/CEO of ArtServe, Inc. “It helps fulfill our mission as an arts incubator in developing avenues for local artists to have their work seen and sold while showcasing the rich pool of talent to be found in South Florida.”
